Volleyball Game Preview: Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks vs. Trinity Prep Saints

For the first time this season, Cornerstone Charter Academy will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. After both having extra time off, they and the Trinity Prep Saints will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Cornerstone Charter Academy has three wins , while Trinity Prep has five dating back to last season).

Cornerstone Charter Academy had won two straight home games and Liam Dinsmore did his part to make it three last Tuesday. Cornerstone Charter Academy blew past Orlando Science 3-0 thanks in part to Dinsmore, who had 17 digs and three aces. Those 17 digs gave him a new career-high.

Cornerstone Charter Academy never let Orlando Science on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Trinity Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Evans last Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Trinity Prep walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 23-25, 25-13.

Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
