Baseball Recap: Mt. Hermon Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Hermon's offense. They came up short against the Independence Tigers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Mt. Hermon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Independence, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

Mt. Hermon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-0 loss against Kentwood on the 9th. As for Independence, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against St. Helena College and Career Academy on the 9th.
