The Andover Central Jaguars will head out on the road to challenge the Andover Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Andover Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Andover Central earned a 70-61 victory over Salina Central. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Brody DeGarmo was nothing short of spectacular: he posted 13 points along with six assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jace Adler, who put up ten points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Andover came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 66-48 victory over the Mavericks.

Andover Central better focus on containing Joshua Kim and Owen Allman as the pair were huge in Andover's win. Kim went 8-for-11 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals, while Allman had 15 points and five steals. With that strong performance, Allman is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Griffin Hand was another key player, putting up nine points.

Andover's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points over those games. As for Andover Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Andover Central has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Andover struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
