Santiago had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Roosevelt Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 last Tuesday.

Santiago's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.2 runs. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.
