Recap: Muleshoe Mules vs. Dimmitt Bobcats
There's no place like home for the Muleshoe Mules, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Dimmitt by a score of 58-48 on Tuesday. For Muleshoe, this counts as revenge for the 62-53 defeat the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 5th.
Leading Muleshoe to victory were Adam Alarcon and Sebastian Kirven. Alarcon scored 18 points, while Kirven dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Kirven also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Martens, who scored four points.
Muleshoe's victory bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Dimmitt, they dropped their record down to 7-19 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Muleshoe will square off against the Cubs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brownfield has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 567 points over their last eight matches. As for Dimmitt, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Denver City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
