Soccer Game Preview: Magee vs. Wesson

Magee is 0-7 against Wesson since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Trojans will face off against the Cobras at 6:00 p.m. Magee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

If Wesson heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Magee took over last week. The Trojans won by a goal and slipped past Puckett 3-2. The win continues a trend for Magee in their matchups with Puckett: they've now won four in a row.

Zoe Miller and Yazmin Gomez scored all three of Magee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, Wesson kept a clean sheet against Crystal Springs on Thursday. They blew past the Tigers 6-0. Considering Wesson have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Magee's record is now 9-3-1. As for Wesson, their record now sits at 9-3.

Magee suffered a grim 8-4 defeat to Wesson in their previous matchup back in December of 2025. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
