Volleyball Recap: Laguna Beach Gets the Win

Laguna Beach lost to Poway back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Breakers had just enough and edged out the Titans 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Breakers.

When it comes to explaining why Poway lost, don't look at Ella Bear. Despite the final result, she had 17 assists and two aces.

Laguna Beach now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Poway, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Laguna Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Long Beach Poly on the 16th. As for Poway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against El Toro on the 16th.
