Soccer Recap: Steward vs. Walsingham Academy
After flying high against Peninsula Catholic last Thursday, Steward came back down to earth. The Steward Spartans lost 5-1 to the Walsingham Academy Trojans on Tuesday.
Steward's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-5. As for Walsingham Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1.
Steward will be playing in front of their home fans against The Covenant at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walsingham Academy, they and Catholic are set to duel on Friday. Walsingham Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.5 goals per game this season.
