Soccer Game Preview: Thornapple Kellogg vs. Northview

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans will head out to challenge the Northview Wildcats at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thornapple Kellogg is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering South Christian just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They and the Sailors finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Thornapple Kellogg happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 21st.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Northview came up short against Wayland, falling 4-1.

Thornapple Kellogg's draw gives them a new season record of 5-1-1. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Thornapple Kellogg took their victory against Northview in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
