Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick's Takes a Loss

St. Patrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hershey Panthers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.

Ruby Uerling paced St. Patrick's offense, picking up four kills. Uerling got some help from Brooke Brosius and her five assists. Finally, Rose Green kept St. Patrick's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Hershey, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, St. Patrick's and Hershey will both be playing Maxwell the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Irish will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
