Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Sammy Santa Ana stepped things up a notch to give Chadwick the 'W'. Santa Ana wasn't messing around, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. The pitching appearance was her ninth straight with eight or more strikeouts.

Looking ahead, Santa Ana and Chadwick will face off against Providence at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
