Mountain View Christian suffers tenth straight loss on the road

The Mountain View Christian Saints lost against the Innovations International Ambassadors back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mountain View Christian had to suffer through a rough 57-22 loss at the hands of Innovations International. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain View Christian in their matchups with Innovations International: they've now lost four in a row.
Mountain View Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Matthew Lindsey, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Mountain View Christian bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.7 points per game. As for Innovations International, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View Christian will face off against Word of Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Innovations International won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
