Volleyball Recap: Argyle Now 17-1 over Last 18 Games

Argyle hadn't done well against Colleyville Heritage recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since August 23rd.

Argyle took Colleyville Heritage into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 15-25, 15-7.

Argyle was led to victory by Teagan Barnett and Makenna Gregory. Barnett had 24 digs and seven assists, while Gregory had 22 assists and 11 digs. That's the most assists Barnett has posted over her last seven matches.

Argyle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. As for Colleyville Heritage, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-10 record.
