Basketball Game Preview: Pine View Panthers vs. Liberty Patriots + How To Watch

The Pine View Panthers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Liberty Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pine View will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Pine View was able to grind out a solid win over Provo, taking the game 59-49.

Meanwhile, Liberty made easy work of Foothill on Wednesday and carried off a 50-29 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Pine View better focus on containing Samantha Chesnut and Xasia Smith as the pair were huge in Liberty's win. Chesnut posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Smith had eight points along with six rebounds and five assists. Those seven rebounds gave Chesnut a new career-high. Aiyanna Eteuini was another key player, putting up two points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Pine View now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Liberty, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Pine View was able to grind out a solid win over Liberty in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 44-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
