Golden posted their closest victory since October 18, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Conifer Lobos 2-1. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Lobos recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Trinity Simon paced Golden's offense, picking up 17 kills. Simon got some help from Dayton Ward and her 23 assists. Kholie Thomson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Golden's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Conifer, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
