Soccer Recap: Elko Falls to Virgin Valley

After flying high against White Pine on Friday, Elko came back down to earth. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Virgin Valley Bulldogs on Saturday.

Elko's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Virgin Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Elko will square off against South Tahoe at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Virgin Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against White Pine on the 15th.
