Football Recap: Midwest City Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Midwest City had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Piedmont Wildcats and fell 53-0. The Bombers lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 13-0 score last time.

Valor Vaughan threw for 71 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Lincoln King was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midwest City will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Carl Albert at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Piedmont, they will square off against El Reno at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
