Basketball Recap: Grand Ledge Takes a Loss

Grand Ledge suffered their closest loss since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Waverly Warriors by a score of 52-49. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Grand Ledge has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Waverly, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Ledge will head out to challenge Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waverly, they will head out on the road to take on Okemos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
