Volleyball Recap: Lilly Wagner and Lila Bishop Secure Win for Port Clinton

Port Clinton not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Galion Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Port Clinton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-20.

Port Clinton was led to victory by Lila Bishop and Lilly Wagner. Bishop had eight digs and seven aces, while Wagner had 18 digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Bishop a new career-high. Ella Carmon also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Port Clinton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Galion, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Port Clinton has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Waite on the 16th. As for Galion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Shelby on the 16th.
