Basketball Recap: Bolsa Grande Takes a Loss

Bolsa Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Estancia Eagles. The Matadors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 60-58.

Bolsa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Estancia, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Bolsa Grande won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Valencia at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Estancia, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against St. Margaret's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
