Bland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sulphur Bluff Bears a 24-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2016.

Bland's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Sulphur Bluff, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Bland will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sulphur Bluff: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
