Auburn is still undefeated this season after their match against Millbury on Friday, but Millbury came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Rockets came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Woolies. The two-run effort marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Kyle McLaughlin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Auburn's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Everson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Liam Doyle also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Millbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
