The Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to  square off against the Torrey Pines Falcons  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Christian can't be too worried about heading out to take on Torrey Pines: they just beat Academy of Our Lady of Peace at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Patriots were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Pilots on Friday.
 Christian never let Academy of Our Lady of Peace on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20,  27-25.
 Christian found their leader in freshman  Paetyn Tamp, who  had 12  digs and one  assist.
Meanwhile, Torrey Pines waltzed into their match  on Friday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Wolverines.
 Torrey Pines was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-10, 25-11,  25-14.
 Christian better keep an eye on  Lila Green. She was instrumental in Torrey Pines' win,  getting 13  digs and two assists.
 Christian's record now sits at 19-10. As for Torrey Pines, their record is now 34-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Wednesday's  matchup:  Christian has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 8.7  aces per game. However, it's not like Torrey Pines struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 5.9  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
