Softball Recap: Newburyport Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Newburyport's offense. They came up short against Pentucket Regional on Friday, falling 20-0. The Clippers haven't had much luck with Pentucket Regional recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Newburyport's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pentucket Regional, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Newburyport will be playing at home against Lynnfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pentucket Regional, they will head out on the road to take on Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
