Volleyball Game Preview: Great Crossing Warhawks vs. Ballard Bruins

The Great Crossing Warhawks will venture away from home to challenge the Ballard Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Great Crossing is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Kentucky's top teams: North Oldham, who was ranked 14th at the time (Great Crossing was ranked 25th). The Warhawks fell 3-1 to the Mustangs on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Ballard waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Tigers.

Great Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Ballard, their victory bumped their record up to 21-3.

Great Crossing might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Ballard in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
