 Conway Springs waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They won by a  run and slipped past the Douglass Bulldogs  6-5. Despite the  victory, that was the fewest  runs Conway Springs has scored all year.
  Reece Johnson was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brooke Beck, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 On Douglass' side,  Hayleigh Waggoner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Conway Springs' win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-1. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.4 runs per game. As for Douglass,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-5.
 Conway Springs will be playing at home against El Dorado on Thursday. Conway Springs is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 14.4  runs per game this season. As for Douglass, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Central at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
