Soccer Recap: Golden Sierra Takes a Loss

Golden Sierra lost against Mesa Verde back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Sierra Grizzlies lost 6-0 to the Mesa Verde Mavericks. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly six goals.

Golden Sierra is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-19. As for Mesa Verde, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Golden Sierra wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Highlands on the 11th. As for Mesa Verde, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Woodland Christian on the 11th.
