Cedar Cliff and Central Dauphin are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Colts will challenge the Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Cedar Cliff's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Central Dauphin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Central Dauphin will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Cedar Cliff extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Colts' pitcher stepped up to hand Cumberland Valley a 5-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Peyton Price made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Cedar Cliff is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise. Price was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Price wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Grant Enders, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Enders has hit this season. Ian Ripple was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central Dauphin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Chambersburg 8-0 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rams have posted against the Trojans since April 24, 2023.
Like Cedar Cliff, Central Dauphin also got a great game from a two-way player: Alex Scaringi. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Scaringi posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Central Dauphin got a great performance from Chase Shrader as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Shrader has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Evan Londono was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tommy Powell, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Central Dauphin's record is now 7-4. As for Cedar Cliff, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Cedar Cliff couldn't quite finish off Central Dauphin in their previous meeting back in March and fell 7-5. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
