Recap: Louisburg Wildcats vs. Baldwin Bulldogs
The Louisburg Wildcats lost against the Baldwin Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Louisburg received a tough blow as they fell 62-46 to Baldwin. Louisburg has not had much luck with Baldwin recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Baldwin found their leader in underclassman Cooper Carr, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carr has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Collum, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Louisburg now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Baldwin, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
Louisburg will face off against Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six back in December of 2023. As for Baldwin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wellsville at 7:00 p.m. Wellsville will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
