Baseball Recap: Waukee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Valley on Monday, Waukee came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 7-2 to the Tigers on Monday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-1.

Waukee's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Valley, their record is now 18-12.

Waukee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-5 defeat against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 1st. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dowling Catholic on the 1st.
