Basketball Recap: Refugio Takes a Loss

Refugio was the 58-37 winner over Pettus when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Refugio Bobcats fell 51-41 to the Pettus Eagles on Monday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Refugio's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Pettus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Refugio Bobcats duke it out with the Yorktown Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pettus, they will head out to face off against Woodsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pettus is facing Woodsboro at the right time seeing as Woodsboro is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
