Sound Christian snaps three-game streak of wins at home

Recap: Sound Christian Lions vs. Charles Wright Tarriers
The Sound Christian Lions pushed their score all the way to 57 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-57 to Charles Wright. Sound Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Charles Wright apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Sound Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kona Resseau, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Kessel, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Sound Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1. As for Charles Wright, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sound Christian will take on North Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Charles Wright, they will head out on the road to face off against Vashon Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
