New London and Seymour are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Thunder at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New London is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between New London and Menasha, and Menasha kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs fell 9-5 to the Bluejays on Tuesday.

Kiley Peterson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bristol Elsholtz, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Seymour fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Menasha on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 7-6. The loss was the Thunder's first of the season.

Addison Wery was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run. Monique Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Seymour fell to 3-1. As for New London, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

New London took their victory against Seymour when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
