Recap: Harvest Community Warriors vs. Canterbury Cougars
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Harvest Community Warriors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a serious blow against Canterbury on Friday, falling 44-0. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, Harvest Community couldn't push the score so high this time.
Canterbury found their leader in underclassman Brenden Daller, who threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes.
Harvest Community's defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.4 points per game. As for Canterbury, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-6.
Harvest Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Canterbury also has no future games currently scheduled.
