Soccer Recap: Peoria Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Macomb last Tuesday, Peoria Christian came back down to earth. The Chargers fell just short of the Monmouth-Roseville Titans by a score of 1-0 on Monday. If Peoria Christian were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to Monmouth-Roseville when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Peoria Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Monmouth-Roseville, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Looking ahead, Peoria Christian will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Urbana University at 4:30 p.m. As for Monmouth-Roseville, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Beardstown on the 8th.
