Meanwhile, Boyd Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on January 9th after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 61-33 loss at the hands of St. Andrews-Sewanee. Boyd Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.
Franklin Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Boyd Christian, their loss was their 14th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
Franklin Christian Academy came up short against Boyd Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 60-56. Can Franklin Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
