Basketball Recap: Innovation Takes a Loss

Innovation lost to Colonial back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulls fell 65-54 to the Grenadiers.

Despite the loss, Innovation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zadkiel Agosto-Caceres shot 54% from the field to rack up 15 points and five boards. Agosto-Caceres is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Innovation's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Colonial, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

Innovation has already played their next matchup, a 61-37 loss against Boone on the 9th. As for Colonial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-57 win against Cypress Creek on the 9th.
