Baseball Recap: Luverne Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pike County on Friday, Luverne came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Satsuma Gators on Saturday, falling 12-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 on Friday.

Luverne now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Satsuma, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Luverne will challenge Montgomery Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Satsuma, they will venture away from home to square off against Citronelle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
