Cabell Midland is 9-1 against Spring Valley since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spring Valley suffered their closest defeat since April 22, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of East Carter by a score of 4-2.

Sydney Turner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Cabell Midland's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Spring Valley, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cabell Midland hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .461. However, it's not like Spring Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .334. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
