            Softball Recap: Tabb Tigers vs. Grafton Clippers        
        
		
        
        
            Tabb had lost three straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-8 to make it four. They fell just short of the Grafton Clippers by a score of  7-6. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Clippers earlier this season, when they won  5-2.
  Alayna Davidson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 1-for-1 with three  RBI and one  triple. That  triple was  her first of the season.  Milenah Camacho was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
As for Grafton, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.7 runs over those games.
 On Grafton's side,  Alexis Henley was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tabb will  face off against  rival Bruton  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Grafton is set to  square off against  their familiar foe New Kent  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
