Soccer Recap: Jennings Comes Up Short

Jennings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the McCluer North Stars, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against McCluer North this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in April.

Jennings' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for McCluer North, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Jennings wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against University City on the 7th. As for McCluer North, they will face off against Hazelwood Central at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. McCluer North's defense better be ready for this one: Hazelwood Central have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
