Beallsville has gone 8-2 against Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Devils will head out to square off against the Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Beallsville will be strutting in after a win while Valley will be coming in after a loss.

While Beallsville's victory against Jefferson County Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Royals 5-4. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Tyler, falling 10-0.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Beallsville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Beallsville took their win against Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
