Basketball Game Preview: Atlantic City Vikings vs. Egg Harbor Township Eagles

The Atlantic City Vikings will challenge the Egg Harbor Township Eagles on Thursday. One thing working in Atlantic City's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.

Last Wednesday, Atlantic City was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 62-58 to Wildwood Catholic.

Meanwhile, Egg Harbor Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Montgomery, falling 73-51. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Cougars are ranked 18th).

Egg Harbor Township's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Atlantic City, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.
