Lowndes put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Richmond Hill Wildcats as they made off with a 49-23 win. Considering the Vikings have won eight matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lowndes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Woods, who rushed for 128 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. Woods got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 67 yards. Ar'Tavian Brown was another key receiver, picking up 187 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Lowndes didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Israel Harrison, Knyon Simmons, and Ty'Lon Jennings picked up one apiece. Harrison got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lowndes' record now sits at 9-0. As for Richmond Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Lowndes will square off against Valdosta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Richmond Hill, they will take on Colquitt County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Packers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
