Basketball Game Preview: Mooreland Bearcats vs. Mangum Tigers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mooreland Bearcats take on the Mangum Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Mangum took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mooreland, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Mooreland strolled past Union City with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by exactly 16 points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-14, which was the final score in Mangum's tilt against Riverside Indian on Saturday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mangum and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for Mooreland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Mooreland opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-39 defeat to Mangum. Can Mooreland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
