Soccer Recap: Weatherford Comes Up Short

Weatherford managed to slip by Newcastle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Racers on Friday, falling 3-0. Weatherford just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Weatherford's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Newcastle, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Weatherford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newcastle, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Elk City on the 28th.
