Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quinton). They blew past the Arkoma Mustangs, posting a 58-12 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Savages' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Mustangs are ranked 64th).

Although Arkoma took the loss, they still got scores from Kingston Farrar and Jacob Edgar.

Quinton pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points over those games. As for Arkoma, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Quinton and Arkoma will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Savages see the field they'll take on Caddo at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Arkoma, their break will end when they face Gans at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
