Soccer Game Preview: Seton vs. Springboro

The Seton Saints will take on the Springboro Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Seton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Sycamore get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result kept Seton happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 6th.

Kate Stumin and Mary Jung scored all three of Seton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Springboro entered their tilt with Walnut Hills on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eagles. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Springboro's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Walnut Hills are ranked 65th).

Springboro's win bumped their record up to 16-2-1. As for Seton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-6.
