If Walthill wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hartington-Newcastle, they should've done a better job of containing Austin Sudbeck. The Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Walthill Blujays on Tuesday for which the team can thank Sudbeck, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Brayden Lammers was another key player, putting up five points and eight rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Hartington-Newcastle and bumps their season record up to 9-14. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 7-16 Creighton and 7-15 Walthill. As for Walthill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.

Coming up, Hartington-Newcastle will host Creighton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hartington-Newcastle is facing Creighton at the right time seeing as Creighton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Walthill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
