Basketball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus lost against Jesup back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Columbus Sailors came up short against the Jesup J-Hawks, falling 55-35.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jesup, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Columbus has already played their next match, a 68-36 defeat against Waterloo West on the 8th. As for Jesup, they are taking a road trip to face off against Dike-New Hartford at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jesup's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
